LCSW, EMDR Certified Therapist for Adults in California
Hi! I’m Blanca, Your Holistic Therapist.
Opening up about painful experiences, such as those from childhood, feels vulnerable, especially when you have intersecting culture(s) and identities. You need a therapist who gets where you’re coming from.
Someone who truly understands how childhood harm affects you in the present, how your hurt is compounded by oppressive systems, and how you need personalized and empowering care.
You need a provider who’s rooting for you and committed to your well-being. That’s where I come in.

WE’LL WORK THROUGH THIS TOGETHER
As a bilingual and bicultural first-generation licensed therapist based in Southern California, I'm passionate about helping individuals transform their relationships and lives.
I specialize in trauma and PTSD treatment, continually working with individuals in trauma healing, as well as those struggling with anxiety, relationships, life transitions, and stress.
I’m here to help you get to the root of the problem and uncover the deeper issues beneath the surface that is keeping you stuck, often stemming from painful past experiences, strong emotions, or deeply held beliefs.
I integrate the proven techniques of EMDR with principles from attachment theory, polyvagal theory, ego state/parts work, and mind-body practices. This fusion allows us to tailor your therapy to address your unique needs and goals.
You deserve nonjudgmental trauma-informed care.
A SUPPORTIVE SPACE FOR HEALING
As a Latina of Mexican and Cuban descent, I’m dedicated to supporting the wellness of communities of color and marginalized groups, particularly women and the Latinx community.
Navigating life as a member of the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous & People of Color) community with other intersecting identities presents unique challenges, such as systemic oppression, microaggressions, pressure to assimilate, or cross-generational conflict. I understand how these difficulties impact your mental health and recovery.
Whether you’re searching for support to process these challenges, heal from childhood wounds, or manage stress, I’ll meet you exactly where you are with safe, trauma-informed, and nonjudgmental care.
First-Generation Latina Therapist
My journey is deeply personal. As a bicultural woman of color raised by an immigrant single mother, I've faced discrimination, generational trauma, and cultural mental health stigma firsthand — navigating the complexities of living in both collective and individualistic cultures.
Therapy changed my life.
It inspired me to pursue it as a profession. I spent 15 years as an advocate and case manager for individuals with developmental disabilities, and my passion for mental health kept growing. Now, I'm dedicated to guiding others as they gain insight, rebuild connections, and heal from their pain.
Me outside of therapy.
WHEN I’M NOT IN THE OFFICE
I'm a proud dog mom to two rescued German Shepherds, Milo and Sophie, who might pop in during our virtual sessions. Nature is my sanctuary, whether walking, hiking, or running. I've tackled 50+ half marathons and 10+ marathons, with a goal to complete the 6 World Marathon Majors. New York, Chicago, and London are checked off, with Berlin up next!
A big Dodgers fan, my husband and I aim to visit all MLB stadiums—halfway there! I love exploring new cultures and diving into historical fiction, mystery, and self-help books. Coffee, yes, please! Music fills my soul, and quality time with my husband, children, family, and friends is my greatest joy.
